Rise 360 Difficult Conversations Course

Process

During my internship with Transamerica, a multi-department needs assessment revealed that both employees and managers were not holding difficult conversations. worked closely with subject matter experts and HR business partners to identify common difficult conversations and scenarios that would be incorporated into the course. As the sole designer of this course, I followed the SAM model closely to provide prototypes of the scenarios and content to ensure the course was meeting the identified business need early on in development. The course coaches participants on the six steps of having difficult conversations while they experience real-world scenarios, apply newly learned skills and practice how to respond in a variety of situations.
